Welcome to Devon Counselling & Psychotherapy
Many people come to therapy with thoughts they’ve carried alone for a long time. On the outside, you may appear to have it all together, but underneath, things can feel heavy, lonely, and unsustainable.

You don’t need to have all the answers or even know exactly why you feel this way to begin. My role is to provide a calm, safe space where we can look at the patterns keeping you stuck—whether you are facing persistent anxiety, burnout, or a general sense of being at an impasse.
It’s okay if things feel messy right now. Together, we will make sense of what is happening and find a way forward that feels lighter and more manageable for you.

How Long Does Therapy Take?
It can sometimes take a few sessions to work out the best way forward and, as such, therapy is often seen as a commitment. The duration of therapy depends on the reasons for coming and the complexity.
Creativity Within Sessions
There may be situations where you benefit from working creatively, particularly when recalling painful events. Some clients have found it helpful to incorporate art into their sessions as a way of exploring and expressing their emotions.
